Behind Story

Here is the behind story of “Only Paper“

It all began with a simple thought:

Isn’t it strange how the world starts keeping track of us the moment we’re born — with a birth certificate?

From that very first document, paper becomes a quiet companion through every chapter of life.

Report cards, ID cards, degrees, licenses, job contracts, pay slips, visas, wedding invitations — they’re all important in their own way.

But somewhere along the line, I started wondering:

What about the parts of us that can’t be printed, stamped, or signed?

This song isn’t about rejecting the system — I understand the role of documents and forms.

But through this track, I wanted to reflect on how so many of us — especially everyday people, the ones holding it all together — often find ourselves waiting, preparing, or putting life on pause just to get the next paper done.

And while we wait, life keeps happening.

Moments pass.

Dreams get delayed.

Music fades into the background.

That’s what “Paper, Paper, Paper” is really about —

Not letting our spirit, our joy, our creativity get put on hold by what’s written on a form.

It’s a reminder:

Yes, papers may open doors.

But they don’t define who we are.
