Behind Story

This song was written during one of the lowest points in my life. I had been building something for years—pouring my heart, time, and energy into it. And when it all came crashing down, I felt broken. Completely empty.

In those moments, I thought of my father. He spent his life in the fields, working as a farmer. What struck me is this: for any professional, entrepreneur, or dreamer, if things collapse, there’s usually a chance to re-strategize, rebuild, and try again immediately. But for a farmer, it’s different.

If a crop is lost, it’s gone. There’s no quick fix, no instant recovery. The only way forward is to wait for the next season, prepare the land, and start again from zero. It’s a brutal kind of patience. And yet, I never saw my father lose his spirit. He taught me that while the harvest may fail, the purpose must never be lost.

That truth shaped this song. Lines like “Let everything fail, let the sky fall black, I’ll keep my hands steady, I won’t look back” are born from that lesson—holding on to inner purpose even when everything outside seems broken.

Now, I build my dreams on digital screens, but my father’s resilience stays with me. He showed me that purpose isn’t tied to success or failure—it’s something you carry within, no matter what season you’re in.
